According to Maciunas, Fluxus meant a flow that should not stop which means a movement unrestricted that has no definition. His art was never meant for museums or was restricted to painting and sculptures or movies. In fact fluxus artists produced artworks that involved games, Duchamp’s Dada, gag humour etc. This art was meant for the people and not some high society people.
